During his time in law enforcement, Tony served as a gang investigator, field training officer, drug recognition expert, and a DUI enforcement specialist. Tony's law enforcement experience includes four days of chaos, during the 1992 Los Angeles riots, as well as being on duty only a few miles away from the epicenter when the 1994 Northridge Earthquake devastated the greater Los Angeles area.
Since 2000, Tony has served as a chaplain for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. From 2002-2008, Tony served as the Director of Ten-Four Ministries, whose mission is to bring practical and spiritual support to the law enforcement community.
In 2008, Tony began a new assignment as the Director of the Ambassadors' Alliance, which is a ministry of Living Waters. The vision of the Ambassadors' Alliance is to see ambassadors of Christ, of all ages and every walk of life, in every community and on every street; denying themselves, taking up their crosses daily and proclaiming the Law and the Gospel; inspiring in every Christian a God-glorifying passion to fulfill the Great Commission; resulting in world-wide revival.
Tony has made numerous mission trips throughout North and South America, bringing the gospel to the law enforcement community, both near and far. His missionary work includes street evangelism and open-air preaching. Tony provides training to teens and adults, in the biblical evangelism principle of "Law to the proud and grace to the humble," as taught by Living Waters/Way of the Master. Tony has employed these principles to share the gospel with thousands of people, around the country in one-to-one conversations and open-air preaching. He appears weekly as the "Lawman" on The Way of the Master Radio show.
Tony is the author of Take Up The Shield: Comparing the Uniform of the Police Officer & The Armor of God (Genesis Publishing Group, 2005). He has also written numerous gospel, short stories, and articles. Tony's articles appear on several blogs, including his own, The Lawman Chronicles.
